Malir prison director suspended after Morai has get-together in jail

The Malir region senior director has been suspended for permitting a detained head of the Pakistan Peoples Party Dr Nisar Ahmed Jan Memon pseudonym Nisar Morai for facilitating a get-together in a Karachi jail.

Morai’s girl got married to previous PPP representative Islamuddin Sheik’s child as of late. The gathering was held in their honor. Malir District Prison and Correctional Facility Senior Superintendent Muhammad Aslam Malik supposedly permitted it.

The notice on Malik’s suspension was given by the Sindh Chief Secretary Mumtaz Ali Shah on June 23. It said that his administration has been set at the “removal of the common home office”.

Sources at the Malir District Prison and Correctional Facility disclosed to SAMAA Digital that almost 15 individuals showed up at the prison to go to the gathering. The visitors were served supper and they even moved. While this was occurring, staff of a security organization showed up at the prison and halted the gathering. The staff addressed Islamuddin Sheik after which every one of the visitors left the jail and the gathering was canceled.
